Camino Day 14 – Road to Burgos
The road to Burgos started well. It was the first time I could get a cup of coffee without leaving the Albergue.
As I wandered to the edge of town, I was greeted by a local man who had a surprise for me. See video to find out what.
It was a dry day and a long walk. I enjoyed the company of two pilgrims, Maria and Sillian for a bit of the morning before they dropped off for their morning coffee and a warm spot in which to sit.
I took a few pictures of the river walk which is under improvement and left a little something behind.
On arrival to the city I reconnected with Volker and enjoyed a wonderful plate of octopus. We took in some city sights before retiring for the night.
