Today was a long travel day. I flew from Minneapolis to Paris. Then took a connecting flight to Bairritz, France. With a train and connecting bus ride I made it to the trailhead in St. Jean Pied de Port.
I wish I had more time see more of this town. After a short walk about and a carb loaded dinner for Day 1, I close down my travel day.
I close the day with this passage:
My brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of any kind, consider it nothing but joy, because you know that the testing of faith produces endurance; and let endurance have its full effect, so you may be mature and complete, lacking in nothing….
