Headed out for Villafranca on a cool morning. Snapped a goodbye photo of the albergue, grabbed a morning pastry from a corner café and was directed by a local to the river walk exit from the city.
Was a nice sunshine day. Took a few photos on the way out of town. Stopped for coffee after about a two hours into the walk. Had to photograph the small church parsing the street.
Lots of vineyards on the walk.
Villafranca was a lovely small city. After checking into the albergue, we had a very fine late lunch at a nearby albergue / restaurant. Octopus and cod were served.
Sat in the sun in shorts while doing some laundry. After, we had a wine at a local bar with some other perigrinos. I left one of my coins on the wall with others scattered among the cracks and crevices.
It was a good day.
