The road to Palas de Rei was good. Another sunny day. Photographed the albergue and river bridge on the way out of town.
I saw familiar faces like Jim and new faces like “New York”.. The volume of people is picking up. The youth groups and families doing the 100 KM stretch is really picking up. The atmosphere has changed from a quiet contemplative state to one of holiday socializing. Music accompaniment is now regular on the way.
We stopped for lunch and sat outside on the lawn asd waited patiently to order and eat. It was a good hour lunch break which was more than we planned.
Upon arriving at the albergue, I showered, and socialized a bit at the restaurant before calling it a night.
